History
2004: The Institute of Directors of Lesotho (IoD Lesotho) established and registered under societies act of 1967 as a non-profit making organisation promoting corporate governance in Lesotho.
2004 – 2017: Remained dormant
2017: Resuscitated by corporate governance professionals in Lesotho. The resuscitation process resulted in holding its first and elective annual general meeting in November 2017.
2018: Secured funding from the African Development Bank through the Ministry of Finance to develop Mohlomi Corporate Governance Code for Lesotho.
2019: Began the development of Mohlomi Corporate Governance Code IoD Lesotho affiliated to African Corporate Governance Network (ACGN) in May 2019.
